作为《半条命》系列的一个独特衍生作品，《追捕弗里曼/Hunt Down The Freeman》以其独特的反派视角给玩家带来了全新的体验。游戏试图让玩家站在黑山基地士兵的角度，去追捕那个我们熟悉的英雄戈登·弗里曼，这种视角转换确实颇具创意。
不过不得不吐槽的是，游戏在实际表现上确实存在一些硬伤。画面质量虽然尚可，但角色动作和物理效果明显落后于时代，部分场景的优化问题也让游戏体验大打折扣。剧情设定虽然新颖，但叙事节奏和角色塑造还有很大的提升空间。
从情怀角度来看，能够以全新的方式重温《半条命》的世界确实让人兴奋。G-man的再次登场也为故事增添了不少神秘色彩，让老玩家能够找到熟悉的元素。只是期望与现实之间的差距，可能会让一些期待过高的玩家感到失望。

《追捕弗里曼/Hunt Down The Freeman》是由Royal Rudius Entertainment开发并制作的一款FPS游戏，游戏中，玩家将作为军队的士兵以全新的视角来体验《半条命》的故事，故事的主题就是\”坏人追捕好人\”，玩家和自己的部队被戈登·弗里曼打败后，自己从医院中醒来遇见了G-man，而G-man则给了玩家新的机会去追捕弗里曼。
